We created Okanagan Yoga Centre to make Yoga accessible to every body in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. We believe that through a regular yoga practice one cultivates greater personal and social awareness - a realization of the interconnectedness of all things which builds strength in self and community on many levels.

Our belief in the importance of community provides inspiration for what we do - at OYC we are dedicated to raising awareness in all social aspects by hosting conscious movie nights, bringing in guest lecturers and teachers, supporting local charities and businesses, and by bringing awareness to and participating in environmental and ‘think local’ initiatives.


The practice of yoga teaches us to live from our hearts and with the wisdom of our experience - Our teachers are encouraged to do the same which means that when you come to our classes you will be introduced to different and unique styles of teaching and approaches to the practice of Yoga. We hope this will enable you to find a class, a teacher and a style that resonates with you as an individual.
